Dollars Food was established in Salt River, Cape Town, South Africa by Mansoor Narker. In 1991, Mr Allie Narker bought a tiny little take-aways at Salt River Circle. This  take-aways was for his youngest son, Mansoor, who was soon joined by his other brother Nazier. As time passed, they started enlarging the premises by adding the premises adjacent to the store. With the quality of the business improving, the need for expansion became evident. This led to the purchase of Dollars Tea Room and Take Aways.

Since then, the original Dollars had undergone a number of changes leading to the move into new premises and the establishment of Dollars Food Inc. Dollars Food Inc. has become well recognised in the food industry for its outstanding food.  Today, Dollars Inc has evolved into a multi-faceted company which includes the service, sale & distribution of LPG Gas, Student & Holiday Accommodation as well catering.

Dollars Food only uses the finest and  freshest products available. These first-class ingredients blended consistently according to carefully developed recipes by Ms. Shanaaz Parker of the Culinary Academy College School of Cooking, with the aid of superb chefs, give outstanding meals.
